Squarespace for service based businesses

Why I recommend squarespace for service based female entrepreneurs-8.png

As a service based business, you’ll get to a point where you’ll need to get a website up and running.

Most people would say, why do I need a website? I’ve been able to grow my business without it.

I do believe you don’t need a website when just starting out BUT I firmly believe that you need a website if you want to grow and be seen as an expert in your field.

So, once you decide it’s time for you to have a website, you will find yourself overwhelmed with all the platforms you’ll find online. Wordpress, Wix, Weebly just to name a few.

But personally, I’ll always recommend Squarespace for service-based businesses and below you’ll see why.

Here 7 reasons why

I love Squarespace and why I recommend it to service based business owners:

1.All in one platform,

On Squarespace you don’t need to buy hosting and domain elsewhere.

Everything is Squarespace owned and developed. That means that everything just works.

Spending less time on research and troubleshooting means you can spend more time on stuff that matters – like content, design, and promotion.

2. User friendly

Squarespace was designed with the do-it-yourself user in mind, making it easy for you to maintain, update, and monitor your websites on your own.

Building pages is a matter of dragging and dropping blocks in a page editor, and backend tasks are a snap with clearly labeled menus and panels.

3. SEO optimized

There's a lot of misinformation out there about Squarespace and his SEO skills

So many people agree that it's really easy to use and has such a beautiful template, but many people still think it has poor SEO capabilities

Every Squarespace website has all the elements necessary for a strong SEO strategy. Site descriptions, page titles, custom URLs, easy-to-search formatting and other key elements are all easily manageable. Each site automatically generates a site map that allows Google to crawl, understand and classify a website

Squarespace is perfect for those looking for simplicity and is great for those who want to publish content quickly and efficiently. Other blogging platforms may offer customization options, but continuous maintenance is required

4. Great Customer service

The Customer Care team at Squarespace is available seven days a week, 24-hours a day, and has won several awards for outstanding customer support.

5. No hosting or plugins to worry about

Squarespace is a self-contained platform that works seamlessly and is fully managed from top to bottom.

This means there’s never any need to update software, plugins, or widgets; patch security vulnerabilities, or worry that changing one component might break something else. It also means there’s rarely any need to investigate or pay for third-party apps or plugins since most functionality is native to Squarespace.

6. Secure connections

Squarespace offers free SSL (Secure Sockets Layer) certificates for all Squarespace Domains and third-party domains connected and pointing to a Squarespace site. With SSL enabled, your clients’ website visitors will enjoy a secure connection on every page.

7. Prices for every budget

Last but not least, Squarespace has different plans for every budget so you won’t need to break the bank when just starting out.

Also as I am a Squarespace circle member, all my clients get 20% when they pay for their first year of membership AND 6 months of trial instead of 2 weeks this means that I can start designing their website and they can just pay once they want their website to go Live!
